Outnumbering the minutemen, a group of aggressive protesters who tried to drive the civilian volunteers away. They included anarchists, communists and advocates of returning the southwest to Mexico.

GET OUT!! Did they really say that on the air? Has it been cut yet from the rotation?
Ted Turner has to be pissed off about that.

If someone starts killing California Minutemen it will get real uncomfortable for illegals.

WIAN: Chase says federal agents have told him Mexican drug dealers have put a $15,000 bounty on the heads of minutemen. SEAN ISHAM, U.S. BORDER PATROL: I've heard those reports in the past. This area is very dangerous. There's a lot of narcotics smuggling that does go on here, as well as human trafficking. The $15,000.00 bounty has been in effect since the April MMP. We must'a ticked off somebody by interrupting their "travel" plans.
It will go up before it goes down.

(Don't believe everything you think.)
2002 budget of the Border Patrol alone reached $1.6 billion, while the budget of the INS was $6.2 billion.

Monday, July 18, 2005
The cost to U.S. taxpayers of making a single arrest along the U.S.-Mexican border increased from $300 in 1992 to $1,700 in 2002 an increase of 467 percent in just one decade.
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2005/7/18/121904.shtml That's the shocking report from the Cato Institute's Center for Trade Policy Studies, which takes a critical look at American efforts to stem the tide of illegal immigration from south of the border.
So now it's 2005......lately have found it difficult to find up to date numbers in similar articles, as they all resort back to 2002 and earlier.

The illegal aliens (which includes terrorists, drug dealers, pedophiles, rapists, murderers, violent gangs, etc.) are getting desperate and fear the Minutemen. And so are their enablers or sleeper agents among our politicians and others.

I saw the segment. The Border Guard they had on seemed awfully happy to have the Minutemen. He called the work dangerous as a Guard was recently shot.
The protestors were violent.
