"Yea, but their baking a pie that is so big that it will feed all of the Dems for years."....especially if Fitzgerald traces the roots of this to an original partisan liberal conspiracy concocted by Plame, using ole Joe Yellowcake as her tool to try to sway voters against Bush, and throw a national election to Kerry.
But I think that the plot goes even deeper. I think that Plame's urgency to discredit the Niger-Hussein uranium connection might have involved uranium smuggling by France (at the very least) and possibly specific people at the U.N. whom Plame and Wilson both knew, and were trying to shield by having Wilson go drink sweet mint tea and report back that he "found nothing." Just a guess, but that's what I believe their reason was - both of them!
If that is what the special prosecutor discovers, then it will be a deliciouc sight, watching the Crow Fest among the entire MSM!
