strange, isn't it that the Media and other dems aren't demanding those that outed that CIA secret, be fired, or impeached or whatever?
I read in the Hill website last night that the Ethics Committee is supposed to release its findings regarding Sen. Shelby's alledged leaking of classified info, in 2001!!!!
At that rate of speed, none of these idiots that have done anything will ever have to pay consequences...but let a rumor about any one in the Bush Administration, and you would think they gave the combination to a lock that houses the "red phone"!!!!

These senators need to PAY...liberally..if the leaking of this sophisticated black-ops operation may cause us to lose HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in investment, as the article states, then WHY CAN't WE HOLD THESE SENATORS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS? Make them surrender their salaries to the American people until the debt is paid! lol NO PENSIONS.....DISMISSAL....and a great deal of SHAME is what they deserve.
I have done an exhaustive search .. using their names every which way .. I can find no other item stating this investigation. Hopefully, the story will flesh out soon if it's true and be made public. Would DOJ make public their investigations? I would think they would .. but maybe I'm wrong.
I'm trying to remember- I did recall mention on Brit Hume's show. And I think some bloggers mentioned it as well.

In the case of Wilson / Plame, we had an attempt to point out how two opponents of the adminstration were trying to thwart the foreign policy of the US government via the pages of the NYT and Vanity Fair; in the case of the airline, we had an attempt to peel back the Tupperware lid of secrecy of an anti-terrorist organization in order to ruin – I’m sorry, let the people know what they needed to know about the operation. Did anyone wonder whether the families of the people in that charter airline might be harmed in anyway? Did anyone wonder whether this information might compromise attempts to interrogate suspects? Did anyone ask what the devil was served by running this story?
Imagine the war was prosecuted by a Democratic administration; imagine a GOP operative blowing the charter airline’s cover to make a point about billing irregularies. Imagine the GOP operative slipping photos of the planes on the tarmac, tailfin numbers visible, to the press.

If you search about "CIA" and "planes" you'll get lots of stories. Unfortunately alot of them are lefty sites pointing out how evil the CIA and Bushco are.
They will run for office from prison and probably win.
