We are spending huge sums on this type technology to monitor people crossing our borders. Platforms already in use include satellites, blimps, UAVs, fixed wing aircraft, and mobile towers.

We have the ability to know exactly how many, where and when people are illegally crossing our Southern border but the information is useless because of present immigration laws.

The Secretary of Ho,eland Defense testified before Congress lat week that we can not secure the border until they pass the necessary legislation, but Tom Tamcredo has sworn to block it because he uses the issue to raise money for his and Buchanan's private website organization.

Our troops are defending us overseas while we refuse to protect their families back home, as well as our own.
