God has a really sick sense of humor.

This isn't GOD's Doing.
GOD gave us Free Will, to make a decision at every fork in the road. You CHOOSE "His way" OR you CHOOSE "Your way". Then you live with YOUR decision.
What happened to this guy is what happens when someone looses their moral compass, and takes the wrong road. THEN, Usually, it's all pain, heartache & trouble for everyone else involved. .......... IMHO.
I don't think God is responsible for a husband who does not have the courage to be honest with his wife.
