King Louis XVI's regime responded to the people's plea for less oppression by giving them more oppression. Remember the disaster at the Estates-General and the Tennis Court Oath? We all know what happened next- the gruesome spectacle of anyone and everyone associated with the aristocracy being fed head first to the guillotine to the delight of an insatiable mob demanding revenge for years of oppression.
Could it all happen agains in Tehran?

Excellent read. I'm sure we're on to this more than is let known to the public but what will it take for the US to act? I still can't see why that Sadr guy is still on the loose in IRaq...he's an Iranian puppet, what are we keeping him alive for? This has a long way to go to play out, I'm just afraid that it is going to get really ugly when it does.

Exactly. Bunkerbusters including the nuclear variant. Intensive bombing like what we did in Baghdad. Eliminate all military communication. Hit all the military bases and organized forces. This time, target all the mullahs and their property directly.
If we let these Islamofascisti have nukes, we're going to get nuked ourselves. They're not sane. And they've demonstrated many times how willing they are to kill the innocent in large numbers. And their hatred for America.
