Muslims in turn have obligations: not simply to condemn terror, as one Labour MP put it, but to confront it."

Exactly. They have finally decided that they might be against terrorism. They have not yet declared themselves to be on the side of Britain in this war.

Non-Muslims have obligations to their Muslim fellow citizens - to strive for equal opportunities for all, to accept the mainstream version of Islam as a part of society and to reject the vile racism of the BNP and its like.

The writer gets to print an offhand attack on the BNP, but BNP doesn't get to respond?

NO. Muslims are NOT "MY" Fellow Citizens. Not in America until they become Naturalized. Until they take off the towels and the body-tents. They wanna wear their version of a yarmulka, that's fine, Jews do that too. They want their Imams to wear religious garb? That's fine, Catholics and Jews do that too. They want to let their boys and girls play soccer? Fine. They want their kids on the swim team? Fine.

INTEGRATE means to make into a whole by bringing all parts together. ONE WHOLE, not MULTI-Pieces. Integrate means to blend into a UNIFIED WHOLE.

If the Muslims can't blend into the unified whole of civilization and society, they need to go back to where they can do whatever it is they do.
