English: The Language of White "Oppressors"-professor: Ebonics superior to tongue of White Devils

I was in a discussion with another poster about South Africa. The poster said that the black students were forced to learn Afrikanners so that they would be steered into demeaning occupations. The struggle to end Apartheid had as a goal the teaching of English to students to better prepare them for the world. (I'm paraphrasing to some extent what was said.)

My point is that here in the United States black students can avail themselves of the opportunity to learn the language and excel in it. Yet some students refuse to learn it, and some very foolish adults think that is just fine. If ebonics doesn't "segregate" black students from a chance at a decent living, and assimilation into society, then I don't know what else will. My view, is that "ebonics" is a form of self induced "apartheid."

English is the most powerful linguistic tool ever invented. It has 500,000 words in relatively common use, more than three times larger a vocabulary that the next largest language, French with 150,000 words. Literature in English is as painting in France, music in Germany or sculpture in Italy, the pre-eminent cultural medium for the art form. In a technical capacity only German comes close and English allows a clearer and more concise expression.

Ebonics is a fadishly obscene admission of failure.

Well of course Ebonics is superior to the language of White Devils. I don't know White Devil or Black Devil language; I think I heard Red Devil speech before, but I just use American English. I did read a little Latin back in high school, but it is a dead language and a least a human one. Any Goths out there speaka the White Devil? Maybe a few Haitian Voodoo Lords know it? Those critics who question whether rap music, with its on reliance grammar-averse Ebonics slang, is an effective medium for teaching literacy are dismissed by Parmar as craven apologists for bourgeois hegemony. This teacher should be sued and kicked out of the school for promoting and spreading mental atrophy in young children. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Professor Parmar sounds like one angry and delusional black woman, using her podium like a sledgehammer against those who do not share her views.

...I believe Mr. Goldwyn should file a lawsuit against her, and the school for her excessive abuse of the grading system...I'm quite certain that he probably didn't attend that school free of charge.

As a matter of fact, this sounds like a job for David Horowitz and his campus organization.
