Democrats attack Christian judges, defeat themselves
OpinionJournal ^ | 8/8/2005 | Manuel Miranda

As the debate heated up in April over ending Democrats' use of the filibuster to block votes on judicial nominees, the secular left worked itself into a frenzy when religious leaders organized a multichurch telecast to focus attention on the fact that the president's blocked appellate court nominees all happened to be "people of faith."

And this is a surprise to who?????

I believe the evidence supports the fact that most of America (excluding the 30% rabid left) is now fully aware of the fact that the Democratic Party "Hates" Christians (and no I don't think hate is to harsh a word). With leaders like Nancy P, Harry R, and Charles S, can there really be any doubt in any sensible persons mind that they are doing everything they can to banish Christians from holding any public office .... period.

The sad fact is there are good Christian Democrats who simply turn their back pretending this isn't happening but the cold hard facts smack them in the face each and every time they turn on the news.

Secularists really operate on two different levels. There are the irreligious who believe religion causes all strife, so to them it only makes sense to rid the world of it, with Christianity being its biggest obstacle and, therefore, its main target. And there are the others who are ashamed of their sins and crimes against life and thusly, they are fearful (which ultimately translates to hateful) of their just punishment. So rather than admit guilt, they denounce and demean God and Christians.

That Democrat leaders (their sheep following) are anti-religious has been obvious for a long time.

What should bother their supporters even more is that they are also anti-business, anti-private property, anti-individualist, and anti-American.

Over 30 years ago, before the Sociology field was taken over by the leftists, a 'secular' religion was identified complete with its rituals, shamans and religious objects. The left has embraced it with enthusiasm. Hmmm, kind of reminds you of communisim doesn't it?
