If there is enough support from fellow citizen-patriots like you, I
am seriously considering a Congressional challenge to the political
establishment. Given the wholesale failure of our current leadership
to defend American territory at our borders, and to protect our
system of ordered liberty from what can only be described as an
epidemic of lawlessness, I feel a run for federal office may be the
best thing I can do for our national security and national
sovereignty.

Last
week I announced that I would be speaking at a fund raiser for Robert
Vasquez run for congress, I asked for your help in the form of any
contribution or letters of support, it got very little attention here.
I'm now heading up Politicalarm.org, an affiliate program to the
MinutemanHQ / Project, dealing with political endorsements. Now I'm
asking for your help again, but maybe this time it will get a little
more mileage on this board. Like Robert Vasquez, Jim Gilchrist is on
of
us and deserves our help. Get involved, I am, I spend my own time and
dime going around the country speaking to the issue, and the least you
can do is help contribute to their campaigns. Believe me, they are not
going to receive any help from the established GOP, they don't want
anything to do with them, I've personally talked too many in the GOP
leadership here in California and abroad.

President Bush has just appointed Congressman Chris Cox (R-California)
to the Securities and Exchange Commission. This leaves an important
vacancy in Congress for California's 48 th Congressional District!
Gov. Schwarzenegger is required to set a special election date within
two weeks of the appointment. If ever there were a time to support a
fellow Minuteman, it is now!
Jim is seriously considering running for this seat. And, if he wins,
he'll take the fight to protect our borders straight to the President
with REAL border security legislation!
California's 48 th Congressional District sits squarely in Republican
Orange County with over 50% registered Republicans!
The problem is Gov. Schwarzenegger and the Bush Administration have
already anointed their "establishment candidate"--even before the
announcement!
California State Senator John Campbell is soft on immigration. And,
this
precisely what the governor and the president want.
We cannot afford to have another congressman in DC who is willing to
sellout our country's national security for party gain!
That's why we need Jim in Congress!
Jim isn't just a volunteer and Minuteman. He's a former Marine and
Vietnam veteran. He's a businessman with an MBA and an experienced tax
accountant. And, he's a former reporter with years of media
experience.
Jim is the perfect man for the job!
But, rest assured the powers that be in the GOP establishment will
pour
money into Campbell's campaign to ensure the status quo on
immigration.
This is UNACCEPTABLE!
We're sounding a clarion call to every Patriot in America to stand on
principle and help guarantee a win for Jim Gilchrist.
By joining fellow Americans from all over the country in support of
Jim,
we can finally send an advocate of national security to Congress.
Jim won't pull any punches when it comes to keeping our country free
from the invasion criminals, drug-traffickers, and terrorists!

But, the GOP "establishment" hates the idea of Jim Gilchrist getting
into this race.
From the White House on down, they are "soft" on the ILLEGAL
immigration issue. But they're also starting to realize that "the
people" outside the beltway in Washington are mad as hell and aren't
going to take it any longer.
The GOP establishment doesn't want an independent Jim Gilchrist in
this
race because they know they can't control him and they know he's going
to embarrass them over this issue.
We must win this race!
But, like it or not, the credibility and viability of a campaign is
judged by the amount of money it raises EARLY.
We're going to have only four months to communicate our message to
hundreds of thousands of voters.
You can't do that by going door-to-door. You do that with mail,
phones,
radio and TV ads. And those things cost major bucks.
So we have a choice:
We can run a token campaign just to tweak the noses of the GOP
establishment...
Or run a full-blown, professional campaign with a chance to pull off
what would be one of the most stunning political upsets in our
nation's
history...
It comes down to whether or not folks such as yourselves, all across
the
country, are sick-and-tired enough of our federal government screwing
around over border security to make a significant contribution to
Jim's
campaign without worrying about upsetting the Republican Party
establishment.
