Cindy Sheehan
Sheehan said she considered Lynne Stewart her Atticus Finch, the lawyer who defended an innocent Black man accused of rape in the book and film To Kill A Mockingbird.
Theyre not waging a War on Terror but a War of Terror, she said. The biggest terrorist is George W. Bush. She claimed it costs $66,000 to recruit one soldier, not including training, and $49,000 a year to house a prisoner, yet only $6,000 per year is spent to educate a child in California. (Recruiting costs are actually $15,000 per soldier, the cost of housing a prisoner in California for one year is $26,000.)
Sheehan continued, 9/11 was Pearl Harbor for the neo-conservatives agenda and declared the U.S. government a morally repugnant system. Then she raged:
We have no Constitution. Were the only country with no checks and balances. We want our country back if we have to impeach George Bush down to the person who picks up the dog sh-t in Washington! Let George Bush send his two little party animals to die in Iraq. Its OK for Israel to have nuclear weapons but we are waging nuclear war in Iraq, we have contaminated the entire country. Its not OK for Syria to be in Lebanon. Hypocrites! But Israel can occupy Palestine? Stop the slaughter!
Uh-huh.
Am I logged in?
< Bottom line, ABC News right now does not seem to be confirming this is what Cindy Sheehan wrote to them, so stay tuned >
So if ABC can't find the original, will they come out and say they "created" a story where they was none? How come they aren't standing by there story even tho they can't find the original email? Do they suspect that a writer made something up? Hmmm?
Per Rich Lowry, at NRO's The Corner, ABC has now confirmed she sent it. However, she is claiming her message has been altered. Strange.
SHEEHAN WROTE THE LETTER [Rich Lowry ]
In a nut shell, ABC now says it talked to Sheehan and she said she did in fact write the letter in question after all and she did receive an e-mail from ABC confirming that ABC had received it. But she thinks the version on the web has been tampered with. Very, very strange...

The ABC dog ate her e-mail.
"They say they're trying to find it, they're investigating."
BS, they took her serious because originally it fit their agenda, anti-war anti-bush, but now the public knows she made an anti-Israel comment and a lie to hide that.. I doubt that ABC will 'find' the original eg. cover for the anti-Bush Basher.
If I knew how I would make up a Cindy Sheehan's Little Red Book, with all her idiot sayings. On sale at $4.95.
It is no longer just the message we must be concerned about; but the 'medium' as well.
The 'good old days' for these these former media giants; was when they could get away with their dispensing of select information.
This lady is clearly off her rocker.
Good analysis here, shows ABC/Sheehan explanations to be false

Here's Cindy's latest version from the website of the odious toad, Michael Moore:
"Another big deal today was the lie that I had said that Casey died for Israel. I never said that, I never wrote that. I had supposedly said it in a letter that I wrote to Ted Koppels producer in March. I wrote the letter because I was upset at the way Ted treated me when I appeared at a Nightline Town Hall meeting in January right after the inauguration. I felt that Ted had totally disrespected me. I wrote the letter to Ted Bettag and ccd a copy to the person who gave me Teds address. I believe he changed the email and sent it out to capitalize on my new found notoriety by promoting his own agenda. Enough about that."

Let's give Mother Sheehan the benefit of the doubt and presume she's been driven mad by the Texas heat on top of her grief. Because the letter was posted on usenet on March 18, 2005. At that time nobody, including Tony Tersh who posted it, had ever heard of Cindy Sheehan.
Cindy,
Skeeter asked me to send ou[t] your letter to Nightline. I did already and believe you got a copy, as below. I added your name to the bull yard list, along with Judge P on the stuff I send out. John Hibbs wrote how to sign up for bullyard even without ever sending it anything. He is back and may write you again. I notice he wrote you with great sympathy. He, along with you and about three others in the Band, I would really love to meet personally. I, like Skeeter who sends me about 10 emails (mostly cartoons) may be sending TOO much, as I think I tend to do.
Keep up your good efforts, and have a good weekend. I hope to learn more about you: where you live, your family, work etc. Time will tell.
Tony

Notice that Tony sent her a copy of the letter he posted--for her approval. There is no record of Cindy complaining about it having been edited. In fact, she and Tony have continued there correspondence ever since. In fact, Cindy sent Tony numerous emails about her public appearances and asked him to promote her website.
Unfortunately for Cindy, there are plenty of other proofs of her anti-Semitism still extant on the internet::
"[My son] was killed for a neo-con agenda that only benefits a very chosen few in this world. This agenda and their war machine will chew up and spit out as many of our children as they can unless we stop them now.
We should not let Israel/USA invade Syria or Iran."

"You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism."

You mean Cindy's 15 minutes of fame are up? Oh, I'm so upset. Now, if someone would solve the Natalie Holloway case...
*snicker*
Of course that letter to ABC was not written by Ms. Sheehan. It must have been forwarded to them by one of the many left-wing groups she claims not be affiliated with or working in conjunction with today. You know how hard it is to keep up with all the operations of your vast Left-Wing Conspiracy, right?
A volunteer all the way; Casey enlisted, re-enlisted, volunteered for the mission that took his life and earned the Bronze Star trying to rescue fellow soldiers.
Casey Sheehan's actions in life are the antithesis of and a direct repudiation of Cindy Sheehan's views and actions!
Is Cindy Sheehan's grief deeper than the grief of the families of the other 1800+ KIA servicemen and women? Is she more important than they are? Is there even ONE family member of those 1800+ heroes standing with Windy Cindy? I don't think so.
The real story is about the 1800+ hero-patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom at home and in Iraq, (and many more in many other places around the world), and their loved ones who support them and honor them even when they disagree with their choices.
