Gilchrist is a member of the AIP party. So thus it becomes a topic, and fair comment. At some point, I assume Gilchrist will explain why he was a member of that party, and what he agreed with them about, and what if anything he disagreed with them about.

As I understand it, the current AIP (out of Utah I believe and a few other places) is not the same party that Wallace formed. One is the AIP, the other is the IAP I believe.

At any rate...I do not believe the AIP out of Utah with several state parties is rasist at all.
