Jesse Jackson calls Venezuela 'An Example for the World'

TRANSLATION FROM SPANISH:

CARACAS.-The U.S. reverend and activist affirmed that the political model of Venezuela constitutes an example for all the nations of the world, shortly after arriving last night to the nation, he told a local radio station.

In his first words on arriving to Venezuelan soil, Jackson cited the just distribution of natural resources and the revindication of minority rights as some of the positive points of the 'revolutionary' process that impels the government of President Hugo Chavez, he told Union Radio.

The defender of civil rights of Afro-Americans indicated that in his three-day visit to the country he hopes to meet ethnic groups who so resemble his mandate to discuss ideas on the way to achieve equality and eradicate poverty and racism.

"We talk much about the right to vote democratically, but we also should have the right to a good life and health and the just distribution of resources. It's a new day and it's the hour to raise up those who have fewer resources, he said.

With respect to the relations between the U.S. and Venezuela, Jackson said that "they are not good but should be better, given that we live in the same hemisphere and I'm here to promote improvement."

Once again, he reiterated his rejection of the declarations of televangelist Pat Robertson, who invoked a call to assassinate President Chavez. "That is immoral and unacceptable in the world of today," he asserted.

The U.S. pastor addressed a special session of the National Assembly that was there to celebrate Sunday today in honor of Martin Luther King and he will participate in an audiovisual program Sunday on (Chavez's weekly TV show) "Aló presidente". He will return to the U.S. around Tuesday.

I think everyone's being too hard and Reverend Doctor Komrad Jackson. He might be on to something with this "just distribution of resources" thing.

In fact, I hereby volunteer to take part in it. Jesse, "just distribute" 85% of your "resources" to me. Immediately.

The "toadlike" Jackson never met a brutal communist dictator that he didn't like.

Jackson always applauds the kind of cronyistic destruction of economies that accompanies a new fascistic elite grabbing off the goodies in the name of a formerly oppressed racially defined group as "the people." He applauds the destruction of a Latin American economy even as he promotes the destruction of the American economy, so long as he and his pals get theirs. Chavez and his pals getting theirs he understands fully, even though lok down on him as racially inferior. It is all enabled by the delusion that we have allowed that oil is power. Jackson thinks to make common cause with those who have America by the oil as he sees it.

Jesse Jackass doesn't realize that he's been irrelevant ever since it was discovered that he couldn't keep it in his pants.

I wonder if he'll ever figure it out?

I wonder if old Jesse focused his efforts on promoting capitalism and "you get what you earn" for the oppressed instead of "gimmee" what would happen...he's no different than a Mullah, using an idea that oppresses people instead of freeing them for his own gain.

While Jesse was hugging Chavez, here are the bloody pictures of what was going on in the streets of Caracas. Chavez was doing what dictators do.

"An example for the world"-----the same world Jackson still wants to see take shape in 2005, and Lenin wanted to see take shape a hundred years earlier. It is STILL profitable to be stupid, and feckless.

Yes, he's utterly vile, and the current story today is that he's down in Venezuela for photo-ops with Chavez, doing his usual "mediator" schtick. He probably put this current bug in Chavez's ear to send heating oil up north
not for "Americans" , but only for the poor oppressed African=Americans who will get the message of his largesse, and start the violent 60's rebellions all over again. When I lived in Chicago in the late 70s, it became increasingly clear that Jackson had discovered that the way to build his image, in fact CREATE some kind of fiction-image iconizing process for himself, was to appear at the side of every black who got himself some news coverage, that had NOTHING to do with politics or "civil rights". Jackson was there for photo/face time for every De Paul University basketball player that got to sign a pro Basketball contract. He managed to cultivate the image of ubiquity and ,in effect ,INDISPENSABILITY over a long period of time.
So that by now he is nothing more than VIRTUAL JESSE, strutting on the geopolitical stage with other would-be revolutionary actors like Chavez.
