They still have Celebrex.
Hello old friend, I want you to know that I turned 54 today and I have never been a liberal!
souter needs to get his head out of his butt where, apparently, the toxic fumes are overcoming him.
We know he's a jerk.
Same concern with Celebex as Vioxx; it may increases risk of heart attacks. But mostly I had more stomach trouble on Celebex than with Vioxx.
My sister had a heart attack while taking Vioxx at age 57. We also have a strong coronary artery disease tendency in our family, and high cholesterol problems. So, that is a consideration in deciding how to deal with rheumatic problems.
Thanks for trying to help.
Cheers!
Bingo.
Ahem...the proper term for such gentry is "confirmed batchelor"...
LOL! gay as a handbag... TOO FUNNY.
BTW, this 3rd generation San Diegan, says you're right about San Diego.
Even if he hates the guy like poison, he can write a few words of what they used to call "glittering generalities" . . . for heaven's sake, he can think of SOMETHING nice, even if it's only that the guy showed up to work on time. My mom once fussed at my dad, "Bubba, you would say something nice about the Devil himself." Dad grinned and replied, "Well, he's always on the job."
If he can't bring himself to put pen to paper, he could have his LAW CLERKS do it . . . I mean, they're writing most (or all) of his stuff anyhow . . . so why not?
If Souter is not lying at death's door with some illness that prevents him from even indicating to his clerks what he would like them to say, I can only read this as a very deliberate and public affront.
And speaking ill of a dead colleague, even by omission, is just plain nasty.
He already has.
