The Fox All Stars on Wednesday were talking about giving the federal government greater power to step in when the local authorities don't handle the situation. Brit seemed to be the only one questioning whether it was a good idea.

Pelosi is already backtracking and saying that members of her party are not going to take part in the investigation to see what went wrong, because she believes it will be a whitewash.

Spin, pure spin.

Seems the dems found a perfect way to get out of admitting that it was a failure of the dem mayor and governor.

The best best satire (intentional, I hope) of the ignorance of federalism I've seen was on the Hannity boards.

In one sentence a forumite decried the lack of understanding and then he began the next sentence with the words: "When I'm in power ..."
