When I lived in Colorado and was more active in the political arena the GOA was much more vocal and visible than the NRA. It's a shame cause the NRA has the funds and the visibility to make a real difference in these cases.
The GOA doesn't do anything. Just ask their members. They have an email alert and that's it. Just look at the media reports and notice who the anti-gun politicians blame when they're voted out of office. It's the NRA.
The GOA also has a rotten reputation for not working together. It's as though they're with the Brady Bunch.
