This will be our anti-Cindy demonstration. Let's get a really huge turnout for this.
Rather than trying to zero in on Cindy's bus tour events, we will join this demonstration already planned.
Why do I have the feeling C-Span, better known as C-Spin wont be there with cameras?
It's looking 50-50 this weekend. I may make it or not. I'll show up if I can.
Sounds lke a possible do-er!

Good going and Good Luck!
Thank you for all your hard work.
Are we doing anything photo-opish like carrying signs or waving blue fingers?
Mr. Gary Qualls: From Temple Texas is here today on behalf of his son, Lance Corporal Louis W. Qualls, of the United States Marine Corps, who had been killed in Fallujah less than a year ago in November of 2004.
He is the organizing founder of Fort Qualls which had been set up in Crawford Texas where a very different message resonated about the war, supporting our troops and the feelings of parents whose loss was of supreme sacrifice.
Mr. Donovan Cambell III: Donovan graduated in 2001 from Princeton University with honors. Has a BA Degree in History and wrote the top senior thesis in the near eastern (middle east) studies department. Currently enrolled at Harvard University studying for an MBA Degree.
He was commissioned in May 2001, and trained at Quantico. He graduated first in his class (of approximately 250), and he placed first in every single area that they could be evaluated in (leadership, military skills, academics). A feat that has only been accomplished by 5-6 others in Marine history.
He was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat Vthe fourth highest award for military valor. The bronze star is given for heroic achievement. In Donovans case, it was for leading his men though large and intense firefight in April 2004. During his tenure in Ramadi, his platoon received 13 Purple Hearts; his company (200 men) had approximately 100 casualties; his battalion suffered roughly 30% casualties. His mission was in an insurgent hotbed.
Operation Iraqi Hope is a humanitarian mission spearheaded by U.S. Senator Chuck Larson. After having served as a Major for US Army Reserves 372nd Engineer Group in the Sunni triangle, north of Bagdad he saw first hand what our troops were doing in Iraq. The chief goal of Operation Iraqi Hope is to provide Iraqi communities with basic necessities such as school and medical supplies. On the Net: http://www.operationiraqihope.com
Another ping, so you can see the information on the speakers (reply 51).
