WASHINGTON RNC Press Secretary Tracey Schmitt issued the following statement on Senator John Kerrys remarks at Brown University this afternoon.
John Kerry's attacks on President Bush's efforts to assist the victims and rebuild the Gulf Coast don't come as a surprise - armchair quarterbacking on tough issues has never been a problem for Senator Kerry. Such tactics havent served him well in the past and today is no exception. The American people have pulled together during a difficult time and Democrats efforts to politicize this tragedy are unsavory at best.

The former North Carolina senator criticized Bush for suspending the 1931 Davis-Bacon Act that sets wages for workers on federal contracts. Democrats contend the waiver will allow lower pay. What they are really upset about - their union money spigot just got squeezed...

We need to change the name of the San Andreas Fault to Bush.
That way when California falls into the Pacific itll be Bushs fault.

They were for Katrina aid before they were against it. Nah, can't have President Bush look good. Oh and where's their plan?

Do you think Kerry and Edwards wrote their own speeches?
Both are slick and can turn a phrase, especially when someone does the thinking for them... BUT would you trust either one to choose the hard right over the easy (and self promoting) wrong? I sure would not.

Holy shyt. What a bad day I am having. Here I thought it was 2005, and it is really 2004.

"If the Great Depression brought forth Hoovervilles, these trailer towns may someday be known as Bushvilles," Edwards told an audience at the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank in Washington. Why don't you let them live in your nice big house, or better yet, pay for better accommodations for them, you ambulance chasing POS.

Is it not redundant to mention Kerry or Edwards giving a speech and then to add [pattern of incompetence and negligence.....]

Go back to your 'pickled raisins' and 'hairspray' and tape your mouths shut....what you have to say is of no importance to anyone with brains...
better yet, open your mouth before you decide to tape it....
