Gore will be on hand Thursday to introduce musical performances by De la Soul, Fishbone, Slum Village and others.
I wonder if Gore will whip out his Amos & Andys Kingfish voice that he usually reserves for the black churches. And he'll almost certainly do that "Herman-Munster-after-he-got-hit-in-the-head-with-a-shovel" dance he does when hes getting down with the soul music.
I actually like De la Soul a little and Fishbone a lot. I just hope Tipper hasn't listened to their lyrics, or she'll pull the plug on the whole event. I would have went, but I cant afford to buy free tickets in this George Bush economy. Besides, theyre sold out.
Theres just no stopping the guy!

What do they define as 'young people'? You have to be at least 18 to understand most of the shows, but anyone 18 or older will be bored to death by GoreTV. They must be doing forced busing from the schools to this event.
I miss my MTV NWI

I'll wager that Algore's new channel won't do too well in his home state. It was, after all,the voters of the Volunteer State who were responsible for his having lost in 2000.

Any band that stands on stage next to Tipper PMRC Gore has already "sold out".
Why isn't this taught in school like McCarthyism?

Can you “sell out” a free event? I don't know about that, but Gore would sell out his country for free.

Ever actually watch Current TV? It's the video version of Err America. It should be called "Marxist TV". I watch for the purpose of determining which advertisers are sponsoring this freak experiment, thereby knowing what retailers to avoid. So far, it seems GEICO Insurance, Progressive Insurance, and Google have been underwritting this disaster, which is fine because I don't support any of them.

That venue's capacity is 5,000.
I've seen longer Lotto lines in New York.
