BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) - More details are emerging about a shooting in a St. Louis suburb that has left four dead, including a baby.
A police officer says the man arrested early today is the former boyfriend of one of the victims.
Investigators in Belleville, Ill., found the bodies of a two-month-old boy, two young women and a young man in an apartment, last night, after neighbors reported a burglary. Several people say they heard gunshots both before and after seeing someone enter the basement apartment.
Commander Norman Venable of the St. Louis Major Case Squad says the two women and the baby lived in the apartment but it's not clear which woman was the infant's mother. He says the suspect, arrested in a neighboring county, had a past "boyfriend-girlfriend relationship" with one of the women.

The more promiscuity, casual sex, adultery, serial boyfriends/girlfriends and consequent illegitimate children that are produced, the closer we get to the end of what makes human civlization "human" and "civilized".

The father of the baby was the man that killed him and the other 3 adults. The young man and the mother of the baby was friends and had been friend all of their lives.
I know this b/c we are very close family to the young man that was murdered
I'm sorry for your loss.Its truly a tragic case for everyone involved in any way.Have you heard if they are going to seek the death penalty yet ?
