And afterwards if you're interested, you can drive by the O.J. crime scene (3 mins. away from the Wadsworth) where O.J. murdered his ex wife and her boyfriend.(Go south on Wilshire to San Vicente turn right then left on Bundy(third street on left)...it'll be about the fifth house on the right(my old neighborhood). Or you can take Wilshire south to Bundy and turn right. Right before San Vicente you'll see the house on the left. Again I believe it's the fifth house from San Vicenete but you'll see the long walkway up to the gate. The restaurant where the victims met is gone but the building is still there. His old house has been demolished and a new home built. Hard to believe it's been more than ten years already.

I spent 25 years working at SV and Montana, at the "11777 Building". Never, ever, did I wish to live in the area (grey and clammy coastal climate and I don't get along).

I sure do remember all the furor back then - from the choppers hovering over the murder scene the day Orenthal and Cowlings took their ride (before they were spotted, everyone thought he'd gone there to off himself) through the summer to watching all the tourists hang out around the Mezzaluna...(and axe for directions to Rockingham, of course)

Yeah, I know... hoping 'please' will work.

In the FR guidelines for posting it talk about not hi-jacking threads when posting. The OJ stuff here is just that. Anyway, I'm sure folks can sort through it.
