I think it is time to lay out the cronism in the Clinton administration. We went into an energy crisis with incompetents on the FERC, and regulators completely missed the accounting sacandals while Terry MacAuliff et al got rich. I have always thought the internet bubble was hyped by the White House to buy the votes of Silicon Valley. Trillions of dollars enriched the Clintonistas, and now dems have the gall to accuse Bush of cronyism.

May I add one to your litany of malfeasances?

In Clinton's first budget, one set of line items were actually designated for a spending cut! Not a reduction in the rate of growth, but a smaller expenditure year-to-year.

It was the Border Patrol and Customs Service...

There's more to that than what you may know. If you're in the habit of sharing your thoughts on the matter with those around you, I'd get in the habit of checkin' your six, once in awhile....just some FRiendly advice.
