No, I saw your vanity post announcing you're back after not really leaving. In news/activism, no less.

Seriously. I've been on dozens of boards. If I didn't like they way they were, I just left. I didn't post an opus. And I sure as heck didn't post an opus and then come back. And I sure as sure as sure as huck didn't post more than one opus and come back more than once.

It just strikes me as someone who is starved for attention.

you got it wrong - PD entertains us with his style and wit, he is not a drama-queen.....he gives it, and we 'get' it.

so either get on his ping list and enjoy the character, or pass by the post!! you're like some crab ruining the birthday party....

Y'know, there are opuses and then there are OPUSES. I am of the opinion PD's opuses are of the capital letter type. He usually has something valid to say when he does an opus. I may not always agree with the reason he's opusing but he usually engages my mind and makes me think.

It may strike you as someone who's starved for attention but to me it's his way of not getting lost in the crowd because most everyone enjoys reading a good opus.
