The Clinton Administration evaded reality as much as possible. He and his cronies had facts galore. Their only goal was to avoid having to act. So squelching the facts was big business to them. Right out of Atlas Shrugged.

I think Bush is slightly better on this one. However, he wants to avoid anything religious, which prohibits him following the Radical Muslims to their leaders in Iran.

And this has nothing to do with anything, but it's really bugging me! Why the heck doesn't the United States use every drop of Iraqi oil for ourselves? We certainly have invested enough money in freeing those oppressed people. We are owed it. Not to mention it was stolen from our oil companies in the 50's by those Arabian thiefs. We are now fighting the war that Eisenhower should have started.

You're correct about using Iraqi oil. At the outset of this war I believe it was Rumsfeld who stated that their oil would pay for our expenses incurred. I highly doubt it will ever happen. BTW-I thought prices at the gas pump were bad-we're going to get raped this winter on natural gas prices(50% higher than last winter I just heard on Fox). The balanced billing option with our power company looks like a damned good idea.
