Time to keep an eye out for desperate insurgents, and pray for all involved.

MSM has already been faxing out the new talking points :
The constitution is so compromised its worthless.
The people STILL aren't behind it.
The worlds gonna end.
This could be the end of GWB's presidency and cause al gore to become an alpha male.

Polls open for Iraq's constitution referendum
15 Oct 2005 04:00:19 GMT
Source: Reuters
BAGHDAD, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Polls opened on time in several polling stations in Baghdad on Saturday for the country's landmark referendum, with more than 15 million Iraqis registered to vote "yes" or "no" to a new draft constitution.
Live television pictures showed voters entering a polling station in the Karrada district of central Baghdad, amid tight security. Iraqi police and soldiers are protecting more than 6,000 pollings centres around the country, with foreign troops ready to assist to defend against insurgents if needed.
In the fortified Green Zone compound, where the Iraqi government is headquartered, President Jalal Talabani was one of the first to cast a vote.

Let the "insurgents" be revealed yet again for what they are: useless wankers. Go Iraqis! And Thanks to our brave forces there, who are helping to create that nation. I sure am proud!
