All packaged in a democracy. Look, you guys, no matter how you spin it, Germany was DEMOCRATIC, get it? They had ELECTIONS. FREE elections.

There is no perfect government, not even democracy, which is why the classic Greeks never worried about the FORM of government but its virtue. And while we're at it, if memory serves, Indonesia "elected" some rather crude dictatorial types, too. And do you want to go to bat for Mugabe?

Democracy is great---I prefer it over any other form of government---but I'm not so foolish as to think it's a pancea, or that every democratic state will be a "good citizen."
