Sorry, there is always a line that cannot and should not be crossed.

Yep. And it's always so much easier to say "there is no line/anything goes" instead of working to decide where that line is to be drawn.

Would Toledo grant a permit to the KKK?

Excellent point...why should a group that promotes hatred and has been guilty many times in the past of vicious crimes, particularly against Blacks, be given the right on free speech grounds, to promote their hate?

Tom Metzger's WAR movement promotes Nazi ideals. He was found guilty of inciting the murder of an Ethiopian man in the Pac Northwest. He had the right, apparently to say what he believes. Someone acts on those beliefs and that is a crime? It should be a crime to begin with. But we protect it under the banner of the First Amendment.

This is totally irrational and illogical.

Yes. Yes they would. And to Farrakhan, and to the Black Panthers, and any other groups just as detestable as the Neo-Nazis. It's called the Constitution, you might try reading it.

You and I don't have to like it, but it is a right.

I despise these nazi jerks just as much as the next person, but unless they are an illegal group, they have the right to speak/assemble.
