Having seen and heard what goes on in the kitchens at the firm where I work (especially when the broadcast e-mail "Food in 43 Kitchen" goes out to everyone on 10 floors), I'm really amazed they didn't actually pull guns on one another. The biggest item of course being the concept of "theft", which one in 100 appear to have even heatd of, much less been warned against.
We had a rash of theft at our Widget Company regarding lunches and snacks from the fridge etc and someone made the special treats with exlax etc and that was all it took to stop it.
One recent event got the perp caught in the act fired as the food they stole belonged to the boss and he said if I can't trust ya over a couple of cookies how can I trust ya with a gazillion dollars in product, facilities and safety issues......bye bye !
