I felt it in Pacific Beach in San Diego. I didn't get any bang, just a gentle cyclic rolling or swaying from side to side for about 15 or so seconds.

Is this earthquake activity occurring alittle more frequently in California? Yes. It's occurring so much, were considering relocating to safer areas like New Orleans, Louisiana, or Toledo Ohio.

Subject: Tsunami Information Message issued 10/16/2005 at 02:16PM PDT
At 02:12PM Pacific Daylight Time on October 16, an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 4.6 occurred 70 miles southwest of San Diego, California.
The magnitude is such that a tsunami WILL NOT be generated. This will be the only WC/ATWC bulletin issued for this event.
The location and magnitude are based on preliminary information. Further information will be issued by the United States Geological Survey
