"It will be hard for this administration, but it is essential to acknowledge that the insurgency will not be defeated unless our troop levels are drawn down, starting immediately after successful elections in December," Kerry said in a speech prepared for delivery Wednesday at Georgetown University.

Kerry, the gigolo senator, liberal, pandering internationalist, at his best. Such profound insight and wisdom about how to fight a war against terrorists. Yes, he remains one of the terrorists best friends.

Mr. Kerry, please go away to one of your wife's numerous homes in some other country and, please, never come back.

I thought we needed more troops to defeat the insurgency. I find it so difficult to keep up with all of the flip flopping.

Maybe he could help out by going over there and teaching 20,000 soldiers how to give themselves superficial scratches in the three seperate incidents necessary to qualify for the express ride home.
On the flight back, maybe he'll show them how to identify and shmooze lonely rich broads.

OK, let's send the troops to his house(s). He's got room.
I'm not often this crude on old FR, however, I will say this: Mr. Kerry is a maggot. A whining, simpering maggot.
Is this what he meant "For A Stronger America"? To cut and run from an enemy?
Putz.

"But I thought we didn't have enough troops?" Of course the fact that many people believe that if the December elections go well and the number of Iraq troops continue to rise that next spring and summer could see a strong reduction in troop levels. Kerry just wants to get out front and take credit for it. In fact troops levels were raised for the elections and appx. 20,000 are already expected to leave after the elections if I recall correctly.

Sort of like the North Vietnamese insurgency in Viet Nam went down after the American forces came home from there, right?

Yes, like most liberals, Kerry will say and do anything, without any regard or care for the consequences, just for POLITICAL ADVANTAGE. It is how they work -- at the total expense of our country.
