Celine Dion Orders Second Child, on Ice (this is about as creepy as it gets...)

Celine Dion Orders Second Child, on Ice

PARIS, October 26, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Celine Dion, 37, told a French magazine that she plans to have her second child in 2007 after her three-year, $100-million contract with Caesar’s Palace Casino in Las Vegas ends. The child, the product of in-vitro fertilization, already exists and is on ice at a fertility clinic in New York City.

“I’m approaching 40 years old, and I have to tend to that,” she told Tele 7 Jours. Another child conceived at the same time was born in 2001. “This frozen embryo that is in New York is my child waiting to be brought to life.”

Although acknowledging that the embryo already conceived by IVF is indeed a child, Dion does not appear to have given recognition to or understood the humanity of the other children that were likely sacrificed during the procedure. IVF most often results in the death of many conceived embryos before one successful pregnancy is maintained. IVF involves the creation of human embryos outside the womb and the implantation of several of these already created tiny humans in the womb of the mother.

Three new studies have shown that on average 42% of ova generated for IVF carry some genetic abnormalities that would prevent a child created from them being brought to term.

If it is a boy and a girl they can't be identical...they would be fraternal twins (with just a very strong familiar resemblance). Fraternal twins are two eggs, fertilized by two sperm. Identical twins come from one sperm, fertilizing one egg, that splits (making the offspring two identical beings).

It would be a "fraternal" twin.

No more identical than any brother or sister.

"Identical" twins are effectively clones created when an embryo divides.

Question for you, although I really should know this. Do identical twins share the same amniotic sac?

Off the subject just a hair, but did anyone see that Discovery program called "I Am My Own Twin" about the finding that a very few people apparently started out as fraternal twins in the womb, but one twin 'absorbed' the other and they have two totally separate sets of genes? I kid you not. It was the weirdest thing I have seen in awhile.

Lots of people discover that ---- generally with a tumor that has a eye or tooth in it or something equally disgusting.

Sometimes, though, working parts (e.g., kidneys) are actually genetically different, including one guy whose testes (and thus sperm) were not "his" genetically --- but his absorbed brothers.

I think Michael Moore is a tumor with body parts he stole from his twin sister.

At least she intends to carry the baby to term herself, rather than use a "surrogate mother" for the pregnancy.

While celebrities will delegate most of the parenting work to nannies, and other servants; that isn't much different than the norm these days. It's another matter altogether, if they to use their wealth to pay low-income "breeders" to undergo the pregnancy and birth.

I think there was a cancer issue that required chemo and they froze some sperm as a precaution

When I had a miscarriage the doctor told me that about 20% or pregnancies ended in miscarriage due to a genetic abnormality. So the 40% thing does sound higher than the average for non IV pregnancies. But I'm not a doctor either.

Yeah, but I have heard there are many that simply never get to the implantation stage --- and hence, no knowledge of pregnancy, merely a normal period.

To me, it sounds like genetic material may unite, but God chooses not to breath life into it, for whatever reason He has.

(No Biblical basis for the above, just a hunch.)

Lordy, Lordy stop the world...Celine is going to have another child. Gosh, my mother had 4 and lost a few. She didn't get out there and blast all over the place about it. My Grandmother had 8 and my other Grandmother had 9...but...guess Celine knows all because it is all about HER. Geeezzz....just be quiet for heaven's sakes.

Isn't it? This should be a personal thing anyway but they choose to blast it all over the place. Needy, needy, needy. We quit listening to her a long time ago and tossed out all her CDs we had. Trying to declutter our home of that kind of thing...her and any other artist or movie actor/actress video we have. Why pay to have an exterminator come eliminate little annoying invaders when you would still have annoying invaders in the form of videos and DVD and CD's of silly A____ people like Celine and the rest of the hollywood crowd.

Celine Dion's husband is Rene Angelil--a much older man--and she is no spring chicken. This photo is ten years old at least.

Rene is so vain and bothered by his aging years that he allegedly paid millions to have unflattering photographs of him collected and destroyed so they could not be posted on the Internet or used by the tabloids.

He was not entirely successful.
