Greenbelt, Md. (AP) - A Prince George's County middle school teacher has been arrested on charges of raping a students.
Greenbelt police say 36-year-old Pascal Brazey of Southeast Washington was arrested Wednesday and charged with several counts of rape, child molestation, sex offenses and assault against a student who was 14 at the time of the attack.
Brazey taught sixth through eighth grade students at Robert Goddard Middle School in Lanham.
Police say the victim, who's now 15, told investigators that Brazey came to the victim's home in June 2004 after she had called in sick to school, and had nonconsensual sex with the victim.
Brazey is being held on $75,000 dollars bond, P.G. County school officials say he was fired Thursday after school officials were told of the allegations.
7500 bucks, and he becomes another skip. Sheesh!

It's a problem from the top down in Prince George's County - as utterly corrupt as its next door neighbor, D.C.. Both are Third World governments.
Said Pascal Brazey, "I thought about quitting running yesterday...but I just couldn't because I don't want to end up like this on the beaches of France"
Given what he is going to be the recipient of in prison, I think he may want to reconsider his choice.........then again, maybe not.
So how about all of the geniuses who always drool and say "Man, where were those teachers when I was in school?", and beg for pictures, when it's a female teacher and a male student? Hello out there, you pervs!

I don't think he deserves to be shot on sight, I mean, God loves him as well and all, but yeeesssh!
Raping a student? Betraying the trust they had in you as their instructor? What kind of person is this...I hate to say man, but he/it is a male.
Hey, now - we live in America - you should have said - "Guys like that should be shot upon conviction".
I'm not trying in any way to say this guy is innocent. But I happen to know a former teacher who's career and family were torn apart by FALSE accusations. Even after being cleared of any wrongdoing - his career was over, and his wife has not been the same since. But had he been guilty, I would have been all for having him shot - I have no sympathy or mercy on child molesters and rapists.
Why is it classified rape when a man has sex with a underage girl, but not rape when a grown woman has sex with an underage boy?

Ah but dont forget that it was consensual in the lefavre case that many of this forum reacted in that manner to. HOwever, in this case the guy forced himself on a defenseless 14 year old. It clearly says "nonconensual" in the article.
Not defending Lefavre, just pointing it out.
Im sure stautory rape is stautory rape regarles sof the victims and perpetrators sex.
But do try and think about it. The larger majority of 14 year old males are quite capable of fending off unwanted physical advances from most women. Its not so easy for a women to force herslef on a mid teenager. SAme not true for a 14 yr old girl and a 30 yr old man.

I find it very wierd....that the teachers are saying "don't mess up your life " think before you act", well i find it wierd because the teacher in this case did the wrong thing.
I quess i should know becasue brazey was my teacher for three years and i know the victim personaly.
ya i had him as a teacher for 3 years too and the funny thing is that he told us (at least my class) that we would “always remember him” and guess what....that promise was kept.
i know the victim personally and goodness knows she was all but throwing herself at him. Now, now I’m not saying what they did was right but I’m just saying that they were both to blame.
