If anyone is an authority on being "history", it's little Tommy Daschle.

LOL...spell check is your friend!
I was looking at what you quoted I said, and thought "OMG...what did I say..."
At work the other day, I was talking to a fellow employee on the phone about a PC relocation, and I meant to say "Do you need a hole bored in that countertop?" and instead, I said: "Do you need a whore boled in that countertop?"
No joke...I really said it....gad!!!

Clinton's presidency was essentially over the moment Monica Lewinsky opened her mouth.

I think that was just before the 2002 elections. Tommy and all the Dems in the Senate had been kvetching that the President had to debate with them going to war in Iraq. So the vote to authorize use of force against Saddam was brought to the Senate floor. Hillary said such an issue shouldn't be politicized. Tiny Tom had his meltdown. The Senate Dems didn't want to vote against the resolution with the midterms looming, yet they also didn't want to get their left-wing loony money sources upset.

"I think it's important for us to set forth some ideas that give the party an opportunity to define itself and to contrast with Republicans." Is there an echo in here? I believe the term is "Put up or shut up".

Former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle said Saturday that President Bush's presidency "is essentially over" In contrast to Daschle's own career, which TRULY is over.

If they were served rubber chicken that would be a step up. I think Tom Harkin's last annual 'steak fry' (Iowa Dems' OTHER fundraiser) could only afford canned road kill with cockroach sauce.
Dems ate it up with a spoon.

Hmm Bush is done because of bad approval ratings yet you were not even reelected and your opinion is relevant?
