I agree. I think it's a wonderful idea. Boys have been forced into the matriarchal learnng system of the public schools for too long.
I hope this little experiment is wildly succsessful, because co-ed schools have damaged several generations of men.
From what I heard, Fisher DeBerry is ready to make the first recruiting visit.
The vocational classes should be interesting.

Perhaps a good start would be for their peers to quit telling them they're "acting white" for trying to succeed??
This brings up several questions..will chains be allowed?? throwback jerseys?? crooked ballcaps?? will the cirriculum be taught using northern ebonics (what be dat?), or southern ebonics (what be dat, y'all)..
Unless and until they dress the part and refuse to be labeled "white", no amount of social coddling using their own schools will help..IMHO
And the irony is that they fought to desegregate the schools but when that failed, they fought to resegregate the schools.
It's a no win game.

I don't doubt the few white males in the same Chicago school districts face the same hurdles as the majority blacks.

This is the problem I have with these kinds of programs. It should be aimed at ALL failing students, not just black. But, in liberal identity politics, failing blacks is a more important issue than failing whites or latinos.
I recommend the school be named "Rosa Parks High". I am being serious. Would it be such a bad thing for young men to have a woman as an example to look up to and respect?

Talk about being amazingly hypocritical as well as just plain idiotic. This idea would do several things but here are a few of the real problems.
1. Less Black teenagers will be in the other schools maybe even causing some to be all white which the left will then conveniently call racist for being all white.
2. This is a disgusting avoidance of the problem hence not a solution at all. If teaching is what they need then take the hand cuffs off of teachers and administrators, re-introduce paddeling and other folms of discipline and make good students out of them which they all can be.
This is outright discrimination against all other students, including female. It's also unconstitutional. Didn't civil rights teach anyone about equality?
