Probably because it wasn't a police operation where they are careful to make sure that the charges won't be dismissed on technicalities. NBC, OTOH, is free to do whatever it likes to entice the men to come to the house.
Because it's a NBC show and not an actual police operation. Given Dateline's history of distorting facts, fear the day when the MSM can run a sting and arrest people. For now, the MSM must settle with only being able to humiliate folks on TV.
That said, I want to see these pervs put away too. That they prey on our children is beyond criminal...it's evil. There are police-run stings like this that do produce results. I hope to someday be on a jury that has a case like this.
I saw a bit of it last night. I was wondering why they weren't busted, too. I had to laugh at the TV guy though. He was so idiotic the way he confronted them. They're PSYCHOS, dude! He was acting like Geraldo or something. It was pretty pathetic.
