From the story:
"police say no crimes were committed."
That's why.
You have to actually have been alleged to have committed a crime to get arrested.

I don't get it. Cops use this kind of sting operation all the time, don't they?

"police say no crimes were committed."
I guess they never heard of the concept of "attempt".

You have to actually have been alleged to have committed a crime to get arrested. So, where's Ronnie Earle when he's really needed?

The "sting" was not set up and controlled by a LEA so there would be no verifiable, sworn to chain of events to hand over to a prosecutor. Had LEOs set this up the story would be different.

I thought each perv was asked if he KNEW it was ILLEGAL to use the internet to solicit sex from a minor. Each one answered in the affirmative. If it is illegal, why weren't they charged? Is the video inadmissable since it was not captured by law enforcement officials?
