He's got some Balkan in him. Like some Palis. Every once in a while you see a red headed Pali too. Something about that part of the ME being the trading zone for Xians brought back and converted to Islam during one or another Ottoman incursion into Europe.

When I was in Iraq I was amazed at the diversity of the appearance of the Iraqi people. I even started to speak enlish to a pale skinned and red headed Iraqi.
