ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE - President Bush, heading to Asia with hopes of improving his image on the world stage, hurled a parting shot at Iraq war critics on Monday, accusing some Democrats of "sending mixed signals to our troops and the enemy." "That is irresponsible," Bush said in prepared remarks he planned to deliver to U.S. forces during a refueling stop in Alaska. Excerpts from the remarks were released by the White House as Bush flew to Elemendorf Air Force Base on the initial leg of an eight-day journey to Japan, South Korea, China and Mongolia.
"Reasonable people can disagree about the conduct of the war, but it is irresponsible for Democrats to now claim that we misled them and the American people," Bush said in his prepared remarks.
Good job, Mr. President!
"Only one person manipulated evidence and misled the world and that person was Saddam Hussein," Bush added.
Thank you!
Long overdue but better late than never.
DO IT EVERY SINGLE DAY! If not the President than SOMEONE in the administration.
There is all the evidence in the world to use against the democrats. USE IT.
They can come here if they need help. We do this in our sleep!
Call them traitors like they do you.
I'm quite pleased that the President has finally stopped bending over and asking the dems to drive. (if you know what I mean?)
No bias there, eh Terence?
Mr. President, it is not "irresponsible" it is giving aid and comfort to an enemy. And as such should be treated as a criminal act against the United States.
Let's have an investigation, get these folks under oath. Just this weekend you had Senator Rockefeller saying he went over to the Middle East and told them we were going to war with them. Isn't that actionable as a crime?
Let the all-out assault on the seditious Dems begin!
How many days until we get the label?: The Democrat leadership is acting as "Saddam Hussein's Defense Team".
Keep shooting, they're still moving.
When Iraq votes in December the Republicans should move a joint Congressional resolution congratulating Iraq on their new government and shame the 'rats into a vote.
Bush has GOT to keep talking about Saddam....remind the people what an evil bastard this guy is and how the Democrats would have left him in power.
If the media won't do the work, the WH must.
Screw the Lib Polls.
Screw the Lib media.
Screw the Lying Libs.
Fight for what is right.
Galvanize the base and WIN.
We will turnout. We will VOTE.
Election night 2006: The words 'unexpected' and 'surprising' will be used to describe 'shocked' liberal losers and GOP wins.
Bush should go to Iraq and speak to the first session of its new parliament....then he should invite the new Iraqi Prime Minister to come to the U.S. and speak to a joint sessin of Congress in prime time....DARE the MSM not to cover it!
The WH needs to fully unleash Rove.
I bet you he will be in Iraq.
Bump that!
