Note also that this is provided by UNITED WAY! Are there any freepers who actually give money to that organization?

She said the booklet, which also provides information on the need for parental consent for abortion and a Web address for the Lesbian/Gay Community Service Center of Greater Cleveland, is inappropriate for 11-year-olds.

She'll figure it out soon. These things aren't meant as "services," they're meant as indoctrinational literature. For libs, the more immorality and perversion, the better.

I was rather pizzazed off that President Bush agreed to do a radio commercial for them.

They're the same group removing funding from the Boy Scouts unless the Scouts allow gay counselors.

I just read the article again, this is Strongsville, a Cleveland suburb. NE Ohio seems to have gone downhill in the five years since I left there.

Ha. These parents actually think they have the right to raise their own children. The wise 9th Circuit Court knows otherwise.

Imagine the outrage if copies of the Ten Commandments were slipped into the lockers. And I suspect that more parents would complain about that, than the sex-related information.

Schools pull these stunts because they can.

"I understand that and probably, in retrospect, I should have considered sending a letter along with it as far as an explanation, he said, adding, this is a developing situation."

What a bunch of crap. What's wrong with so many people in the educational fields that they don't even think twice about providing children with inappropiate materials and not even consider the parents wishes? I can't decide which I think is more mind boggling: the fact that they handed this stuff out or the thought that they don't even think to consider the parents wishes. Maybe someone needs to enlighten them that these kids are NOT theirs; they are the PARENTS kids. They are just being paid by the parents school taxes to provide a service to them, that is: educating the children.

How come the telephone numbers are all to places that support, advocate and want the right to give abortions to anyone of any age? Are there not free health clinics with telephone numbers? How about pro-life health clinics? No telephone numbers for them, huh?

Were I a parent I would be doing everything in my power to get my kid out of public school, if I had to give up just about every social thing in my life and home school them.
