BAGHDAD, Nov. 19 -- Suicide bombers killed at least 49 people Saturday in attacks targeting a Shiite Muslim funeral in eastern Iraq and an outdoor market in Baghdad, while a disagreement among the country's faction leaders nearly ended a national reconciliation conference on its first day.

A U.S. and Iraqi raid on a suspected al Qaeda in Iraq safe house in Mosul sparked a three-hour firefight in which four insurgents and four policemen were killed and three guerrillas blew themselves up, said Gov. Duraid Kashmoulaof Nineveh province.
Iraqi and U.S. forces had suspected Abu Musab Zarqawi, leader of Iraq's most feared insurgent group, might be at the house, Kashmoula said. Zarqawi's whereabouts have been the topic of a stream of murky reports; U.S. military officials have said they believe Zarqawi has vowed not to be taken alive.
The U.S. military was examining the dead late Saturday, the governor said. U.S. military spokesmen in Baghdad said they had no information other than word of the firefight.

Zarkawi vows to not be taken alive. Yeah thats what they said about Saddam until they shined the light in and he pissed himself and crawled out of his hidey hole.
Those are the first guys to blow themselves up rather than being taken captive. It's either Zark-cow or someone who didn't dare get captured because of who they were.

Zarqawi is a coward who may well be taken alive. I havent seen him out blowing himself up to prove his point. He is quick to send the dimwitted out to kill themselves and pave the way for his eventual entrance into hell. Satan has great plans for his type, and those plans begin with zarqawi dropping his pants and bending over.....go for it Satan.

If they find out this was Zarqawi the President needs to have a 9PM speech to the nation to announce it on Monday. That would buy the president four to five months of public support on the war.
Even if this wasn't Zarqawi it is important when he is killed to announce it to the public in a prime time speech.

There have recently been very some brief news reports posted here on FR that (a) the coalition is finding that a large percentage of the "insurgents" and bombers are loaded with "opiates" (presumably heroin), and that (b) the "insurgents" are known to abuse their younger members, including sexually.
It's long been my theory that Zarqawi is a heroin-addicted pederast, in addition to his other pathologies.
