A contestant on ABC's Wife Swap is suing the Walt Disney Company and the show's producer, RDF Media, for $10,225,000 after the person involved in the swap turned out to be a gay man. Jeffrey D. Bedford of Haileyville, OK told the Muskogee Phoenix that he could not comment on the case but provided a copy of his lawsuit in which he claims that the producers told him that if he did not proceed with the filming, they would not tell him his wife's whereabouts and would not pay for her return home; that the gay man invited members of a "gay coalition" to his home for Bible study; and that "as a result of intentional infliction of mental distress he has incurred medical bills, public humiliation, embarrassment and undue grief." ABC spokeswoman Annie Fort told the Phoenix: "ABC is confident that RDF Media, the producer of Wife Swap, treats participants professionally and with respect. The show is meant to challenge a family's norms and moreover, the agreement between the plaintiff and RDF specifically stated that the swapped spouse could be either male or female." She said that the episode involving Bedford has yet to be scheduled.

I agree on both counts. Just being ivolved in this stupid show should cause public humiliation....

appear in the diseased crap that NBC & MSNBC call
entertainment and (Hah!) "news".
Anyone STUPID enough, and I mean GALACTICALLY STUPID, to put himself on such a show deserves what happens to him.
Not to mention that the habits of most male queers includes the molestation of young boys, when they can get away with it.
Walt Disney must be rotating at around 1000 RPM in his grave when he see's what 'Disney' has become.....
The key here is "WIFE" swap. A Gay man is NOT a WIFE, cannot be a WIFE and will never be a WIFE. Disney played with words and tried to be cute. I hope they loose their a$$ over this.

And I will add, this is Disneys way of going around the gay marriage issue. A wife, as recognized by the courts can ONLY be a woman.

TV programming, likely ton volve , " Gay Swap" , " Daughter Swap"or why not , " Dog Swap?"
This kind of crapola is why I do not have a TV in my home.
Got so sick of MSM in 2002, that we got rid og it. Ah ...peace and quiet at home and the only thing I swap
is maybe my lawn mower.
I do not lend out my wife, my guns or my truck.They should have a TV program about that kind of livin'. ( "Red Neck Wife Swap" , red neck pounds swapper who wants red neck wife!) I would get my TV back just to watch such a program.
No wonder so many folks have aids and STD's in America!

IMHO, this fool deserved what he got for agreeing to swap his wife in the first place.
What else would you expect from Disney company.
