You did it right. And, man, it's great stuff. Of course, they wanted to be carried. They don't want to do anything for themselves (see welfare, etc.).
To: clawrence3
Well, I guess we know why Ms. Sheehan "delayed". I don'tthink she's coming at all...

You did fine. ;) "The arrests were made by more than two dozen deputies who calmly approached the demonstrators in their tents and asked if they wanted to walk out on their own or be carried.
Two chose to be carried. I wonder if there is any repercussions if the officers accidentally drop them on the pavement.

The people of Crawford shouldn't have tpo put up with the endless circus of unlimited protests, trespassing on private property and blocking traffic.
On the other hand there needs to be some legal way to protest - I can understand arresting the campers - it's not a camp site. But I'm not sure about threatening a small group standing on a public right of way... maybe they needed a permit but there needs to be some way to protest.

Bout time. These guys cost us a fortune every time they show up in extra police protection, etc. There's no constitutional right to block a right of way.
Besides, Crawford's playing in the regionals this week against the Prosper Eagles. That's the big news.

The reason this happened, was that adjoining landowners were totally ticked off by the gathering of the protestors last time. The protestors left a total mess - which the property owners had to clean up, and the traffic was detrimental to the other landowners.
Not to mention - a threat to the safety of the President.
It seems the City Council had a meeting with the landowners and they decided to change the ordinances so these protestors cannot continue to harrass Bush's neighbors.
I think it's great! No fighting. Just change the law!!
When "Mother" shows up - the show won't be there .. LOL!
