From the editor's review Palgrave/St Martin
This book presents a frightening new picture of what we can expect from terrorists in the future. Phares shows that there has been a fundamental misunderstanding about al Qaeda's ultimate goal in the West and what victory means to jihadists. Called by the press, 'the only person who really can read the minds of terrorists', Phares is uniquely qualified to identify the aims and strategies of the organizations waging war on the West. He answers such critical questions as: How long will this war last? Is the United States secure on the inside? Will it have to engage the jihadists worldwide in multiple campaigns and where? Future Jihad points the way for America to win the ideological war at the heart of jihad.

Anyone who has half a brain understands this will be a long and protracted conflict, not unlike the cold war, however, Islam goes nutso every few centuries committing murder and mayhem until it's shoved back in it's hole. The problem now is we've let the bast**ds into the West under the auspices of political correctness and relativism...not unlike letting cancer cells into your body. If this Dr. Phares is to be trusted by the West, and I suspect hated by his fellow mohammendans (assuming he is one), I'm surprised he's still alive?
I just saw an interview with Mr. Phares on Fox...and he said that the jidadis made a "mistake" on 9/11---that if they had waited a few years until they could have had a more coordinated strike in other places as well....
they would be a lot further along in their plans to take over the world...but, since they just did what they did on 9/11....they galvanized us and other countries to fight them before they had a good stronghold in our country and others...
I plan on reading his book...sounds fascinating.
Walid Phares is currently MSNBC/NBC terrorism and Mideast expert . . .
Which means he was the only guy in the mail room @ MSNBC with an arab sounding name when 9/11 hit.
not true. the Sheehadistan crowd and Moveon understand and co-write half their playbook.
"not true. the Sheehadistan crowd and Moveon understand and co-write half their playbook."
...and so we assume that internet contributions from pro-terrorists support both Sheehan and moveon. It will be fun to examine their funding bases.
