DETROIT, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- A Moroccan immigrant held in a Detroit jail as a terrorist suspect for three years has sued, claiming that he was deliberately fed pork and humiliated.
Karim Koubriti's suit names Wayne County, five unnamed sheriff's deputies and one identified only as "Rojo," the Detroit News reported.
"The actions of the Wayne County Sheriff's Department were completely outrageous," said Koubriti's lawyer, Ben Gonek. "They only added more insult to the injuries he was already sustaining by the federal government."
Koubriti, in legal papers, claims he and four other alleged terrorists were strip-searched without need when other prisoners were only made to strip to their underwear. He said they were made to eat pork in spite of the Muslim dietary laws.
A spokesman for the county said pork has not been served in the jail for years and that security standards for federal prisoners are set by the U.S. marshals.

The guy is fabricating being fed pork; according to the article the prison has not served pork in years. And if they did, he didn't have to eat it. Strip search is the procedure dude! Case dismissed.

The men--who still had IDs from their former jobs as Detroit Airport Sky Chef employees--possessed false IDs, and a day planner with notes and sketches regarding a U.S. military base in Turkey, a Turkish airport, the American “foreign minister” and the Amman, Jordan airport. According to the Detroit Free Press, Ahmed’s ACCESS funded commercial driving lessons and attempts for hazardous materials hauling certificates for two of the three men, Ahmed Hannan and Karim Koubriti.
Ahmed didn’t seem to care much about this, even though, ACCESS—which had $8 million in revenue in 2000—gets at least 60 percent of its funds from us taxpayers, according to Crain’s Detroit Business. “We send people to all kinds of training programs and we don’t check their political credentials.” In other words, “I don’t care if your tax money funds my agency, it’s my party, and I’ll help terrorists if I want to.”

Speaking an Iowan, this is terrible! Where is our pork pork? We need a market for the cuts you only eat when there's no other choice. I'd assumed Sen. Harkin had cut a deal for us with his buddy Sen. Levin. We buy the Detroit's auto seconds for our prisons and they buy our pork seconds for theirs. Detroit is known for having many prisoners to feed and now that we're not guarding our prisoners we need lots of vehicles to chase after them. Everyone gains. It must be Bush's fault. I bet Haliburton was given the prison kitchen contract and has been feeding them bird flu tainted chickens from Mexico.

Mr. Benjamin Gonek didn't have to accept the ridiculous case, but he saw potential $$$$$ from a law suit. Also, the Judge has the power to dismiss frivilous law suits, so the blame for these sham suits by captive muslim terrorists doesn't completely lie with the islamofacists. These scum are playing our greedy, corrupt lawyers and liberal judicial system like puppets.
He was safer in jail than on the streets of Detroit.
If he doesn't like pork in jail, maybe I could supply them (cheap!) with 8 eyed, 5 legged fish from Chernobyl.
