We can't win this war fighting individuals. We CAN win this war if Bush would get off his duff and do what he promised to do and that was to go after nations that harbor terrorists. 10 Marines were killed today, and I just hope my nephew was not one of them. They were killed by an IED made in Iran no doubt, like most IEDs are. We should be waging war against Iran and Syria, not fighting thugs infiltrating in from Iran and Syria and elsewhere inside Iraq.
Stopping a terrorist nation is how you win a war on terror, not fighting individual thugs in Iraq.

yah, I happen to think Zarqawi and Bin Laden are the only ones with the name regonization to produce a sizable boost in support for the war.
If you keep killing #3, you'll eventually get them all except for #1 and #2.
Bush also said he would go after nations that harbor terrorists, and he has betrayed us on that promise. The IED that killed ten Marines today was probably made in Iran, and Bush does nothing to stop that.
Oh, wait................That's right. He asked the ambassador to "engage Iraq" to see if they would kindly help in stopping the killing in Iraq.
I honestly can not believe that is George Bush in the White House. I never would have imagined that Bush would prosecute this war in such a French-like surrender fashion. We either need to go after nations that harbor and aid the war against us, or we should stop the war and admit defeat. Bush is fighting a LBJ style "half-speed" war. That was nuts then, and it is nuts now. Bush is no Harry Truman. Bush is no Teddy Roosevelt. Bush is no JFK.
The three I named have had the most publicity in the US and the Muslim world as well.

What really pi$$es me off is that we have the capacity to do what it takes but not the will due to PC. JMO.

While I agree Zawhiri is the brain and getting him would be huge, I also think Zawhiri is relatively unknown by the US public compaired to Zarqawi and Bin Laden.
I can't argue with that. Both had more publicity.
