Democrats in Colorado run scared on immigration
The Cherry Creek News ^

Democrats are gathering in Colorado cover their rears on immigration issues and their impacts. “Thursday, 01 December 2005 Colorado legislators are taking a more serious look at immigration than the recent grandstanding and demogoguery on the issue. At the request of the majority House and Senate leadership, The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) will hold a regional seminar for state legislators on “Immigration and the States” in Colorado. Immigration is a growing issue that needs thoughtful discussion based on reliable information. NCSL has invited policy experts from across the country to inform lawmakers about this issue and how it affects their state.” Link to Cherry Creek

All politicians had better start "running scared" when it comes to immigration if they value their cushy jobs.

Could it be that the RATS are finally waking up to just how vulnerable they are on this issue. Boy, I hope not!

Gee, the DemonRATs seem able to read and understand that the tea leaves say America is 80%+ against Illegal Infiltration, and the continued funding for them... and we will not tolerate the "perfumed Princes of Power" that are the elected Solons just ignoring the issue; or worse yet, shoving SHMANESTY down our throats!

Now, if only Jorge Arbusto, who sits in La Hacienda Blanco was able to comprehend this....unless...could it be..."eeee-litist arrogance" that he's guilty of?

In the grand plan of his globalist agenda, American citizens mean absolutely nothing to him. He's made that quite clear for the past 5 years. Disgusting.

No yet. Howard Dean -- last night in Phoenix -- said the President had hyped the border to create a reason for the GOP to get re-elected in '06, but it wasn't going to work and the public would see through it... so, no, I don't think they get it --yet!

No, it's a bad thing.

If they sit on it, the GOP can get by with doing a lot of talk. If they up the rhetoric, the GOP will be forced to act.

I think Dean doesn't get it, but I do believe that local pols on both sides of the aisle are feeling the heat. That may be what it takes for the national parties to finally wake up and notice just what issues are important to their constituencies.

I think that everyone who opposes illegal aliens and wants our borders defended from invasion should be yelling it to their Democrat Congressmen and Senators and the DNC as well as the Republican side.

Up the heat as much as possible to force each side to get tougher and increasingly serious on the issue.
