WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- In response to the Fidelis Christmas ad campaign that celebrates America's Judeo-Christian faith traditions and defends Judge Samuel Alito, liberal religious leaders lashed out at the ad, calling it "offensive," "coerced religion," and "a manipulation" at a Friday morning press conference.
Fidelis President Joseph Cella stated: "This season is a special time when many Americans commemorate our Judeo-Christian roots. It is unfortunate these liberal religious leaders dragged this season through the mud and attacked Judge Alito."
The attendees at this morning's press conference were Rabbi David Saperstein, Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism; Rev. Timothy McDonald, African American Ministers Leadership Council; and Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell, of The Interfaith Alliance.
"Reverend McDonald claims that our ads somehow ignore Judge Alito's record. The fact of the matter, our ad specifically addresses his record in ACLU v Schundler, a case Reverend McDonald and his liberal allies are using to attack Judge Alito saying it would further erode their extreme version of the "wall of separation" between church and state," Cella said.
The Fidelis advertising campaign launched on Monday celebrates America's Judeo-Christian faith traditions with images of Christmas and Hanukah and defends Judge Alito's ruling in ACLU vs. Schundler.
Cella noted: "These liberal religious groups opposing the nomination of Judge Alito show how far outside the mainstream they are with American religious values when 95 percent of all Americans agree with Alito's decision that allows religious holiday displays on public property."

This is the reason liberalism must go, go, go.
They really have to dig to find these slugs (i.e. predefined agenda and a thin news day). What makes them credible to anyone? Do their followers vote (in the US)?
I wish there was a way we could alert the public exactly where the ACLU got it's start and it's funding, and just destroy them where they are burned down and have no home.
Liberal religious leaders? These are the clowns who preach the "The Ten Suggestions" right? From the Have It Your Way United Church? You know. Bozos.
They know... they don't care!
