Russian analyst: Democratic Choice Commonwealth is a system of half-pirate economics

On December 2, a constituent forum of the Democratic Choice Commonwealth took place in Kiev. The is as an alternative organization to the CIS, that unites Ukraine, Moldavia, and all Baltic countries, Poland, Slovenia, Macedonia, Romania and Georgia. During the round table discussion “Influence of the fourth wave of NATO expansion on political and election processes in post-Soviet countries”, that took place in Moscow on December 2, President of the Effective Policy Foundation Gleb Pavlovsky stated, that the creation of the new organization presumes peculiar blockade of Russia, as a REGNUM correspondent informs. “The unification of democratic countries’ club between three seas (Baltic, Black and Caspian – REGNUM) without the only country that has access to all these seas is a blockade,” said Pavlovsky.

He stressed, that all participants of Eastern European reconstruction have their own gains in this process, not only ideological, but also economic ones. Poland and Baltic struggled for the role of those that form the EU policy. Lithuania has already shown itself by putting pressure on Byelorussia and explaining it by military threats of Lukashenko. Georgia will receive military gains, and Voronin (President of Moldavia – REGNUM) will receive political support for his regime, that is currently “paralyzed”. Ukraine will also win the right to blackmail Russia by transit of the Russian gas into Europe. “So, now a system of half-pirate economics has started to be forming,” concluded Pavlovsky.

Pavlovsky is a professional Kremlin provocateur and demagogue, so I would view all his "deep analysis" in this context.
