Where to begin? With an article by one of America's worst legislators, dumbest lawyers, and hugest hipocrits! This slug gets not only his $50 million trust from Bootlegger Joe but an additional $425,000 a year as "CEO" of The Peoples Fuel Cooperative, which each year sends one super-tanker (owned by his family) to "the little people of Massachusetts so they will be warm this winter instead of freezing to death the way George Bush wants it."

Where'd you get this PFC salary and other info? A quick google didn't even find mention of this organization.

AS an environmentalist, I support wind power, including wind power on the high seas. I am also involved in siting wind farms in appropriate landscapes, of which there are many.

Located where?

Since when does this hypocrit care how much it costs to generate energy? The wind is the wind. What difference does it make if it blows over ground or over water?

I wouldn't build a wind farm in Yosemite National Park.

I wouldn't either but I would build a geo thermal energy farm there.

And because offshore wind costs twice as much as gas-fired electricity and significantly more than onshore wind, the project is financially feasible only because the federal and state governments have promised $241 million in subsidies...

Oops. Maybe you shouldn't have voted for subsidizing those "green" energy companies, Senator.

It's surprising how many anti-windfarm bumper stickers you see on BMWs and Land Rovers around suburban Boston.Well, it's not really surprising if you get to know the rich, phony leftists around here.

One of my favorite examples of leftist multicultural hypocrisy is chronicled in this piece from the Harvard Crimson (yes,*that* Harvard Crimson).

A note to anyone who reads it;when you see references to Brattle Street and that particular neighborhood, remember that the homes there are among the most expensive you'll find in America and they're *all* owned by the movers and shakers at Harvard and MIT (senior faculty and administrators). I would think you could make the windmills look very "arty." People fly to Holland just to look at tulips and windmills, don't they?

I'm permanently off the caffeine (for now!) so I guess I'm too slow to see what they are squawking about. And, that Kennedy....not the brightest. Maybe he is off his caffeine, too.

I don't like Eminent Domain used to take peoples property for more tax purposes but a persons view has less use than a person's home taken to build a yacht club.
Eminent domain would be a good use to build a wind farm on
the Kennedy Kompound!

This is the wackjob liberal that Sean Hannity nailed by carefully documenting his energy-hog personal use of private jets, limousines, SUVs, 50 room mansions, etc.

He is an arrogant, totalitarian phony "environmentalist."
