Wow. Your satire would have drawn much agreement from Christian readers of the 1960s. What has happened since then?
Christian readers of the 1960s appreciated poorly conceived and poorly written satire? I'm sure most of us tend to agree that Christmas has been commercialized, that secular aspects of the holiday now dominate, and I'm sure that most of us on FR agree that this is unfortunate. I'm also sure that most of us on FR do what we can in our own households to reverse this trend.
However, Good Ole Paul's ET story really isn't very creative.
I was a Christian reader in the 1960's and would have been just as perplexed by his incoherent rambling.
